Social Motion, Inc.,a Houston-based nonprofit, provides a lifespan of services for children, teens, and young adults challenged by autism, ADD, social anxiety and similar special needs. Your donations help each individual realize their full potential and diminish the worry of what happens when parents are no longer available to care for their child. Services include social skills training, parent training, job skills training, driver’s education programs, family support and much more.
Pop, Fizz, Clink! We are excited to invite you for brunch and bubbles at this year’s Social Motion Champagne Brunch. Join the Social Motion team at the home of Founder and Executive Director, Wendy Dawson on Friday, April 17 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. to support and learn more about how we are changing the landscape for the families we serve – offering hope and resources for the lifelong challenges that come with raising a child with autism and similar special needs. These efforts are impacting the lives of more than 400 children and young adults and their families in our community each year.
Social Motion is solving life’s special needs for families dealing with the lifelong challenges of autism, ADD, social anxiety and similar learning differences. We would be honored to have your support at our annual events which help us continue to improve and expand our programs regardless of families’ ability to pay for services.
Our products are created, produced, embellished, assembled, packaged and shipped by artisans with autism and similar special needs. One hundred percent of sale proceeds are used to sustain our program; ensuring we have talented teachers and can continue to pay our artisans a fair wage.
